Depending upon the severity of your problem, you may be advised to seek immediate treatment at an emergency department facility of your choice. Your surgeon has the right to regular time off in the course of his employment including the participation in multiple courses to remain current with "state of the art" orthopedic surgery. During that time away, you will then be attended by another surgeon in this office with like training who will then be responsible for your care in your attending physician's absence. Your attending physician will usually tell you when he is going to be away. Your records are always available to the physicians of this office. AppointmentsPatients are seen by appointment only. Should you have a problem within our specialty, telephone us at 330-837-8391. Our telephones are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During regular hours, our recording will direct you to the receptionist for an appointment. Outside of regular business hours, your message will be received by our telephone recording system. If the problem is such that you must be seen immediately, every effort will be made to have you come to our office, or to the emergency room at Doctors' Hospital or Massillon Community Hospital.When making an appointment we encourage you to describe your problem to our staff in detail so that you may be scheduled appropriately. Our usual office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday. Friday hours are 8:00am to 3:00pm. When making your appointment you will be asked to obtain and bring with you any previous X-rays or X-ray examinations (MRI, CT, SCANS) and reports from previous doctors or hospitals. These X-rays may not guarantee that additional films will not be required, but are very helpful in your examination and could save re-X-raying. After your visit we ask that you return these films promptly. You will also be asked to have a list of medications that you are presently taken. If your insurance requires a co-payment be made for your visit, please have it available at the appointment. Your appointment could be cancelled if you do not have your co-pay. Canceling AppointmentsIf you make an appointment with one of the physicians and are unable to keep it, please call as far in advanced as possible so that we can cancel it and use the time for other patients.FormsProvided below are various forms that require completion prior to your visit and/or surgery.
