Depending upon the severity of your problem, you may be advised to seek immediate treatment at an emergency department facility of your choice.

Your surgeon has the right to regular time off in the course of his employment including the participation in multiple courses to remain current with "state of the art" orthopedic surgery. During that time away, you will then be attended by another surgeon in this office with like training who will then be responsible for your care in your attending physician's absence. Your attending physician will usually tell you when he is going to be away. Your records are always available to the physicians of this office.
